For decades now, concerned Veterans and
Civilians have been questioning the testing of Agent Orange at Fort
Chaffee, Arkansas, in 1966 and 1967, as well as storage of this deadly
chemical through the 1970's.
Another secret the government tried
to keep away from its duty-bound and life-giving Veterans!!!!!
I
have official reports that not only prove the testing of Agent Orange at
Fort Chaffee, but also the site locations, coordinates, and dioxin
levels still present today at Fort Chaffee. If you have, or know anyone
who has, photographs of Fort Chaffee, please contact me as soon as
possible.
Dioxin was the most dangerous chemical created by our
government and used on its own people, as well as in Vietnam, Gage Town
Canada, and other countries. Gage Town, Canada has sued the United
States twice now and won the first law suit. The second law suit is
pending currently as it is initiated by the sick children of those
exposed to the Agent Orange testing back in 1966 and 1967. Every country
where Agent Orange has been tested has sued us and won, with the
exception of Vietnam, who has a third lawsuit pending currently.
Many who have served or spent time at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas have
developed diabetes, cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, heart disease,
and/or died.
Did you also know that the City of Charleston,
Arkansas, has 100 times the national average for Type II Diabetes and
cancer?! Did you know that the City of Charleston drew its water from
Engineer's Lake, Fort Chaffee, which was near one of the test sites?
Did you know the former mayor of Central City, Arkansas is one of
those exposed to Agent Orange? Hear his story here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZZeclt3sZo
If you have worked at
Fort Chaffee, Arkansas, served there, or spent time there through the
1970's, and have any of the above mentioned illnesses, or you know
someone who may have been exposed to Agent Orange at Fort Chaffee,
Arkansas, please contact me immediately at agentorange@k5dxm.com!!

I served in the
infantry in Vietnam (196th L.I.B.) and returned home only to suffer from
PTSD even until now. I was able to talk myself out of ending my dreams
of hell many times. Seeing news reports of so many new vets returning
home, only to end their lives, finally drove me to write a book (My
Life, My Hell This Grunt’s Journey Back to the World). I wrote it as an
outreach to my fellow Vietnam Veterans and our new returning veterans in
order to help them heal from PTSD, for their families and friends to
understand why we suffer. I also charge America to give Korean and
Vietnam Veterans the long overdue respect and honor deserved for their
service. The book can be located on the net by searching my complete
name.

Many fond memories. We went up across Freedom Bridge and occupied fire
base, 4 poppa 1 in the DMZ every other month. Seems so long ago. I am
proud of all those that served in Nam and Korea. The way we were treated
when we returned home was not fair! Anybody that remembers Camp Pelham
the week that we occupied it for the 7th and 17th FA email me. Turkey
Farm, Songeri, Yongico, the Chinese Tunnel, Camp Page. Apparently Camp
Casey is their home now. Casey had a replacement company that processed
new troops when I was their. Take care all! Proud of all of you! Second

were some great memories of friends' card games (I lost),and even fun
under fire.Micheal,do you remember after we moved to Tan Son Nut? we
were hiding out in our hootch one night durring a fire fight, stoned out
lauaghing histericaly bullets flying. It seems that we recorded that on
tape.I would love to hear that today.Of course it was not all fun and
games. There were some horribly tragic events that still haunt me to this
day. Please, if any of you know what happened to Don Brown from C btry I
would like to know. I was the one who held the six straws in my hand
that led to him going to Khe Sahn.He was wounded so badly when a mortar
landed between his legs, they said he wouldn't make it.I guess when we
left for Ton Son Nut we all took it for granted that he didnt make it.Or
maby the thought of him living after what had happened was to hard to
bare. thirty years later I went to the wall and it was then that I knew
that i was wrong. Please forgive me guys Iwas certainly not a very good

Date: 05-18-2010 Name: Larry Taylor Email: pleiku71@sbcglobal.net
Message: My name is Larry Taylor, I served with the 15th from
December 1970 to March 1971. I am trying to find a person with the last
name "Smith" for a very good friend of mine. I understand this is a very
common name and I don't have a first name, so this will be very
dufficult. But, I am doing this for a good cause. I met a young man that
happened to be child born in Vietnam during the war. He is a great young
man and I want to help him find his American father. His father is an
African American with the last name Smith. Mr. Smith fathered this child
with a Vietnamese lady that worked at the officers club on Artillery
Hill, her name is Hoa. He worked in some capacity with the Chu Hoi
program. I know there are some men that would rather not be bothered
with anything that happened in Vietnam, but I'm sure who ever this kids
father is, he would love to meet this kid. He works for the Defense
Dept., has masters degrees in math and science. He doesn't want anything
from his father but to know who he is and to meet siblings if there are
any. He waited this long to search for his father because he wanted to
get his life together first so his father wouldn't think he wanted
anything from him, other than to know him. I was so touched by some of
the stories he told me that happened after the war to him and his
family, just because he was part American. I am so proud of this kid,
and I know his father would be as well. If anyone has any info, I would
really appreciate it. Larry Taylor pleiku71@sbcglobal.net

pictures. Was also at Terminal North, Artillery Hill, Pleiku, in 70 &
71. Have some good picts from there also. I remember in 1970, 52nd Group
would shoot every target I came up with. When I came back in 71, they
would hardly shoot anything. Heard that orders came down not to shoot at
anything other than "troops in contact". Hell of a way to run a war.

LOVES HIS SOLDIERS
Sometimes it’s hard to protect what is right
Sometimes we’re scorned as for others we fight. Some of us are
willing regardless of loss To commit our soul to save the cross.
Evil prospers on greed and human hate Always eager to destroy and
defecate. God’s grace descends on the souls of man Cleansing the
impure wherever He can.
As long as man has struggled on earth
Life has had its troubles from birth. God’s seed of goodness has
delayed man’s demise Thank Heaven for his heroes the strong and the
wise.
The Lord adores his heroes of yesterday Just how
numerous, only He could say. God loves his soldiers who line up to
serve By standing against evil His grace they deserve.
THE MAD
DOGS OF MAN
Wherever dwell the mad dogs of man There is
corruption, plunder and hate. In every city, town, or village
Those who promote distrust deserve their fate.
All are born as an
innocent child Till mislead by others along the way. God has
always loved his children Though it breaks His heart when they stray.
The mad dogs of man never repent For they have no sense of shame
or sorrow. Worshiping dominance and the dark side of life Abusing
victims as if there were no tomorrow.
God gives the will to sin
no more And to overcome evil unwilling to cease. The mad dogs of
man must be stopped Who murder, rape and destroy world peace.
Samson, Solomon, Moses and David Were chosen by God to stand tall.
They faced great odds and the fear of death Refusing to ignore their
call.
The time has come for the good men of earth To band
together to restrain the horde. Standing firm against tyranny where
it exists Putting the mad dogs of man to the sword.
INTO THE
TEETH of THE DOG
All through history man was born to struggle
Surviving nature, disease, greed, and war. Since his conception he
has remained the same Choosing to serve evil or good as before.
Our boys and girls face the teeth of the dog In hot spots all
over our earth. They leave their families and all they love To
protect and preserve what liberty is worth.
The foes they face
are the mad dogs of man With a desire to kill, disfigure and enslave.
They sing and dance to the death of others Teaching principles of
hate till the grave.
Support our troops who battle the horde
While we live the good life back home. When you see a soldier show
them your smile Say “hello we love you and your not alone.”

Much to my suprise I found your section concerning the units deployment on the
ship that I also was on. There is no reason that any of the 15th would remember
the three members of the 41st Finance Section. We were in the compartment just
below the top deck and foremost in the bow. A LOT of movement that first night
out of Oakland with a LOT of sick troops.
Thanks for posting the ship section! |

If you served in Vietnam and were stationed at Camp Radcliff, An Khe, April 6th,
1970, the night 17 helicopters were damaged or destroyed, please contact:
801-216-6343[a]rodmitchell.info
A freelance investigation is under way to find out how the VC. (Vietcong, 2
sappers) got inside Camp Radcliff, accomplished their mission and then got out
again so easily without being captured or killed in action. They committed the
perfect crime, and obviously, a feat that only someone with super human
abilities would have even attempted.
It's only speculation at this time but there are multiple scenarios that fit one
eye witness's account of that night in An Khe:
(A.) The chain of command could have had previous knowledge of the pending
attack and allowed it to take place for the following reasons:
(A1.) To create media hype and support for the war.
(A2.) To create media hype and keep Camp Radcliff open and operational.
(A3.) The entire attack was stagged as a movie prop for a Vietnam war
documentary.
(B.) The chain of command were taken by surprise by the attack and blotched it
so badly that it was necessary to conceal their blunder by falsifying reports,
and by discharging GIs who knew too much about what had happened.
If you were at Camp Radcliff on the night of the attack, and especially, if you
received an early out of Vietnam, under AR-212 around that time, your account of
the attack is pertinent to this investigation. Your testimony could very well be
the missing link that exposes a major cover up committed by the United States
Army.
Affidavit (1. of 2.)
I was the one who found the location where the VC. exited the wire and left the
perimeter of the camp. The entire scene was surreal, it certainly didn't look
like 2 infiltrators had just scrambled through the wire fleeing for their lives.
Quite the contrary, the grass was all pressed down and matted in such a fashion
that it looked like someone had taken their time to purposely make it look
picturesque; right in the center of the matted grass that led under the wire was
a completely exposed satchle charge (touch sensitive bomb, 1 of 18 used). It was
neatly wrapped in large leaves and perfectly placed on the ground like a
military museum display. Looking back now in 20/20 hind sight, the whole scene
comes to mind as a prop for a John Wayne, Hollywood war movie.
Mysteriously enough, the aerial flares (pop up canisters) were removed from the
guard tower closest to where the VC. exited the wire at the perimeter of the
camp, just days before the attack. Also, the searchlight positioned on top of
Hon Cong Mountain was not utilized when a radio request for illumination was
rendered by the GIs pulling guard duty in that same tower the night of the
attack.
In July of 1970, I was 212ed out of the service for having a behavioral disorder
(Passive/Aggressive Personality Disorder). However, up until the time of the An
Khe attack, I had no prior mental health issues or history of such in my family.
To add insult to injury, I volunteered for the draft, a 2 year enlistment
(Portland, Oregon, 1969). My military records (DD 214) lists me as a 3 year
enlistee; something I had no knowledge of until my early out.
After Thoughts:
Upon receiving an AR-635-212 SPN 264 - separation from the U.S. Army in 1970, I
completely disassociated myself from the establishment out of bitterness. I am
now 58 years old and I've never even registered to vote in any political
election in this country or its territories. Furthermore; I do not foresee my
position, opinion and perception of the United States government changing at
anytime soon.
I attest under penalty of perjury bound by the laws of the state of California,
on June 10, 2008, that the aforementioned statements are true based on my own
perception of what took place at Camp Radcliff, An Khe, Vietnam - 1970.

Served with the 261st Trans Co (Med Trk)(Whistlers) at TC Hill in Long Binh from
Sep 66 to Sep 67. Was a Spec 5 at that time and ran convoys to Tay Ninh, Chu
Chi, An Loc and other points.
I have since met the then Commander of the 261st several years ago when I was
working for the Transportation School at Fort Eustis, Virginia as a DA Civilian.
Also met then Battalion Sgt Maj Ledbetter and Battalion CO LTC DeHaven at Fort
Eustis. GEN Dehaven is now deceased. Would like to hear from a fellow squad
member by the name of John Bull if he reads this.
Also served at China Beach in DaNang in 1970 - 71 which included a later
assignment back to Long Binh with the II Field Forces' 9th Trans Car Co (Car
Airborne). The 1st Sgt at that time was SFC Richard (Dick) Gumm. If anyone knows
him and where he is contact me. I've been contacted by Gary Arnett who was his
driver at that time and now resides in Texas. He provided me with an interesting
20 minute video taken in the company area and on some of our trips to Saigon
sometime in 71. I had forgotten all about it and was really surprized this 20
minute clip should show up in my life over 30 years later. Unfortunately there
is no sound. Shows myself playing guitar, Gary Arnett, and a few other 9th Trans
people. Awesome!!

AS THE MADNESS OF WAR TELLS ITS STORY
Goodness must overrule absolute evil
Though there’s nothing worse than war.
Sometimes we have no alternative option
Except to kill or be killed as before.
The best of plans can go amiss
With uncertainties till the first shots are fired.
As generals plot their path toward victory
It’s up to the wounded, the fallen and tired.
It’s not how strong or athletic you are
That decides who is blessed to return.
Those who survive are a product of luck,
And our prayers and support they’ve earned.
War seems to peel the veneer off society
Exposing our villain within.
A crazy obsession to rule over others
By death, destruction and sin.
The mayhem of conflict is a ongoing scourge
Robbing man from intended glory.
The hinge of history swings in all directions
As the madness of war tells its story.

the 3rd bde, 25th inf div arrived in pleiku in 1965.i was in B-1-35 inf
and we arrived on 28 dec 65. i was 18 years old at the time. we
established our base camp approx 4 miles north of pleiku. this was a big
hill not far from where the c-141's landed. in 1966 the 4th inf div
arrived and built there base camp on the opposite side ofthe air strip
from us. it was named camp enari. our base camp was called base camp of
the 3rd bde task force, 25th inf div.
as for as i know it was never given an official name. the 3rd bde 25th
inf div was transferred to the 4th inf div in1967. i have been trying to
determine what became of our base camp. some say it became artillery
hill. some say engineer hill or tropo hill. any info, especially photo's
that one could use to identify our old base camp would be greatly
appreciated. send info to marshall179[a]webtv.net. thank you.

I just returned from the 15th Artillery Regiment Reunion in Branson, and
I cannot tell you how excited I was to see the 6th Battalion grow from 2
of us in 2005 to 9 in attendance this year.
I was the supply sergeant of Svc Btry 6/15 from Aug 68 to about April or
May 69.
I have gone through the guest book and purged names from it for the 6th,
and would ask any and all members of the 6th of the 15th to make contact
with me so we can continue to grow in size and become the friends that
we were so many years ago.

Our world becomes more dangerous each day.

Survive by their falsehoods at play.

Our world as a whole is beyond reform.
God will eradicate all which is wicked
By his fire of eruption and storm.
To evil’s victory, I will never concede
May its supporters anguish in hell.
By the grace of God and the power of faith
The goodness of man will prevail.
What we accomplish is heaven’s measure
As patriots respond to the threats of man.
Protect and defend what we love till death

SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF WORLD WAR III
Our sons and daughters serve in harms way
To defend our way of life.
Some are students, some grandparents,
Many a husband or wife.
They face great odds without complaint
Gambling life and limb for little pay.
So far away from all they love
Fight our soldiers for whom we pray.
The plotters and planners of America’s doom
pledge to murder and maim all they can.
From early childhood they are taught
To kill is to become a man.
They exploit their young as weapons of choice
Teaching in heaven, virgins will await.
Destroying lives along with their own
To learn of their falsehoods too late.
The fearful cry we must submit.
And find a way to soothe them.
Where defenders worry if we stand down
The future for America is grim.
Now’s not the time to fight one another
Or kiss our enemy’s cheek.
All through history it remains the same
The strong enslave the weak.
May God continue to bless America
Refusing evil, the upper hand.
It’s up to us to stay resolute
Defending the liberty of Man.

Korea - April '69 - Nov '70, Camp St. Barbara, 2 Bn 76 arty, does anyone

Stanley plus many more bases. I'm trying to find someone who can
substantiate that I was at the places that the VA has declared Agent
Orange was used. You'd think being at the first line of defense at Camp

to retrieve so far have not shown any of the top secret clearance
missions or rosters of where my time was spent while in Korea.
Please if anyone can help me, it'd be so appreciated. A couple guys I do

WAR
As war is fought it takes charge,
And events spin out of control.
The madness of men can alter the soil
Which nourishes the roots of their soul.
Many things will forever change,
Far more then wished to be.
As the wrath of war starts to destroy,
Those things we fight to keep free.
War is the greatest plague of man,
Religion, state, and sanity.
Any scourge is more preferred,
Than the one which disables humanity.
When war breaks out, boundaries change
And all who die are a token,
Of the rage that must run it's course,
Before words of peace are spoken.

Anyone who thinks the V.A. pension law is discriminatory- contact me.
Under that law- the spouse can't work or the vets pension is reduced.
This is discriminatory against the spouse and labels the vet as a

We aren't welfare cases. Unless the wars we fought were welfare-to-work
programs??
Isn't is strange that an SSD cases spouse can work and there's not even
a cap on earnings? |

Brother redlegs,
Just a note from a DQS vet regarding our recent reunion. The NDQSA (National Dusters,
Quads and Searchlights Association) which includes Vulcan and Hawk missle batteries
(Air Defense Artillery)had quite a gathering at Charelston SC July 5-9. We had 115 vets
and family totaling more than 150 present including one 6/14 redleg who came to say thanks
and join the fun. We know you gun bunnies appreciated our fire power and we are grateful
to have shared some mudhole FB or LZ with you guys for some brief period. You guys were
in our thoughts and conversations for five days. Especially those of you who turned your
175's and fired over our new bunker all night and turned it into a pile of rags. I thought
that just happened at DakTo but it seems you guys were doing that all over South Vietnam.
You should have been more careful where you parked.
Buy the way, my mom gave me all my letters from Nam, in one I mention Jim Chambers from
Graham Washington. He might have been with C/7/15th at Tahn Cahn or DakTo April 71.
Contact me.

it is heart wrenching! I just feel this need now to
say thank you to all of you through my tears and hug each one of you in
my heart, maybe you have heard this before
and it doesnt mean anything but to me it does and i have to say it! A
thank you isnt enough but that is all i can do or say
now, and i do say it with sincerity from the bottom of my heart!
If by some chance there is a Vet out there who would

a liberal, but I never forget all of you,
and I thank God for you every day. I was a kid in high school when you
guys were in Vietnam. Some of my best
friends were vets I met in college, and they taught me the deepest
respect for my fellow man and my country.
You are the best. You are the ones who made sure we have our freedom. We
need to do all we can to repay you.
God bless you all.

I came across your wonderful site looking for Gun Truck info.
I did 2 tours in II Corps '67-'68 and '70-'71 flying Huey's, Snake's and
LOH's.
Many of the photos were places I re-supplied, covered, medevac'd, and
even once in
'67 flew part of the Bob Hope show (didn't get to see it though) into
Camp Anari, all the things drivers did in those days.
Thanks for the memories, keep up the good work,

if Larry Vander Lind would share his adventure

An Khe in Jan '70 and am curious as to what
Larry found on his journey. I wouldn't mind taking that trip myself.
Thanks!
